Son of the late Darcy and Urcilla Newton
Brother of Margaret, Woodrow, Leighton, Whitfield, Euphene and the late Winsley Brathwaite and Richard Newton
Uncle of Adrian, Shanelle Brathwaite, Michelle Prescod and others
Friend of Phillis Jackman, Wilfred Kirton, James Harding, the fisher folks of the Bridgetown fishing complex and many others.

A celebration of the late JOSEPH ANTHONY BRATHWAITE “Cow-Cow” will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the St. Mark’s Anglican Church, College Savannah, St. John, followed by the interment at the St. Mark’s Cemetery.
Viewing will take place on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the Oasis Funeral Home Chapel, Massiah Street, St. John, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
